A CHEF-LED FISHMONGER, DELI AND EATERY

The idea behind our fish shop was to develop a chef-led fishmongers to showcase, in an educational way, what the North Sea has to offer to try and take the fear away from cooking fish.

With an open kitchen behind our fish counter, we will be showcasing various cooking techniques of different seafoods served up as tasting plates, talking you through them as we cook. 

We will be preparing various seasonal accompaniments to the fish that diners at the Fish Shack may already know such as the sauces and salads we serve alongside some new recipes of rubs, marinades, broths, and stocks to accompany the fish in our counter.

An extensive wine list will be available to drink on the premises from our ever changing ‘by the glass’ wine list or bottles to take home as an off license.

We will soon be making our in-shop offerings of fresh fish, cooked and preserved seafood, fresh vegetables, game, beer and wine available online. Until then a selection of gift boxes are available to order for in-store collection.

THE SHOP

Wednesday - Sunday - (12pm-5pm)

Selling and serving fresh, locally caught wet fish from our counter alongside a display fridge full of fresh produce such as picked crab and lobster, preserved and smoked fish, game, sauces, stews and dressings

An extensive wine list is available whether you’re eating in or buying your dinner to cook at home we will help you pick a wine to suit. Browse though our ‘book shop’ curated by Head Chef Olly in collaboration with 'The Bound' Forum Books.

THE KITCHEN

Our kitchen opens for Lunch and Dinner Thursday to Saturday and Lunch Sunday.

Cooking fish fresh from the counter alongside small plates, shellfish, oysters, local beers and wines.

We accept bookings for our first floor dining room all day and from 5pm the ground floor fish counter and window seats.

Thursday - Saturday / 12:00pm - 11:30pm

Sunday / 12:00pm - 5:00pm
