Vittoria is situated in south Scicily by the Sea. With red fertile soils providing a fantastic base for the exclusive Frappato grape to flourish. Planet winery is renowned for producing one-of-a-kind wines from Scicily and this no exception.
The wine is elegant with flavours of cherry and flowers with soft tannins.
Last week we threw together a little informal evening of seafood bites and gin based drinks put together by no other than Walter Riddle, one of the founders and co-owner of the Moorland Spirit Company who produce the fabulous Hepple gin. We had such fun, we thought we'd do it again!
We have been working with Hepple for around five or six years now and have grown up together visiting their beautiful distillery with our team on numerous occasions which is based up next to the Cheviots from where the use of wild Juniper, Douglas Fir and foraged ingredients are used in the distillation process of their hi-fidelity Gin!
